UNIT 5 Ethics and Values
MORAL DILEMMAS Ethics and Values What should they do? A moral dilemma is a situation in which a person must make a difficult decision where two or more available options seem equally justifiable or unjustifiable from an ethical standpoint. These situations often involve conflicts between values and ethical principles, and there is no single, clear answer to resolve them. Moral dilemmas can arise in various areas of life, such as medicine, politics, justice, personal relationships, among others. Resolving a moral dilemma requires reflection, analysis, and the application of ethical principles and values to arrive at a decision.
